Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdul Malik received the Director of Operations at the International Committee of the Red Cross and his accompanying delegation today in the temporary capital Aden, , where they discussed aspects of cooperation and coordination between the government and the committee to prioritize interventions according to urgent needs.
Dr. Abdul Malik welcomed the delegation of the Red Cross in Aden, to strengthen the frameworks of joint partnership and coordination, to support the government’s efforts to alleviate the existing human suffering caused by the Houthi militia since its coup and its outbreak of war in late 2014 expressing his great appreciation for the distinguished humanitarian role that It is carried out by the International Committee of the Red Cross, and its continuous support for the Yemeni people in the health, humanitarian and relief aspects, and the government's keenness to support its activities and facilitate its tasks in various Yemeni regions without exception.
