Minister of Transport, Dr. Abdulsalam Hamid, discussed today, in the temporary capital, Aden, the with the United Nations Development Program’s advisor, Dr. Abdulrahman Azaizi, the procedures that the program is taking to communicate with the relevant protection clubs of the coalition of marine insurance companies regarding reducing insurance costs on the shipping of goods and commodities frequented to Yemeni ports. , which costs our country about 250 million dollars annually.
The Minister of Transport praised the efforts of the development program represented by the resident representative in our country and his assistants, as well as the program’s advisor in order to achieve this mission, which comes in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. (53) of 2022 AD.
He stressed the need to expedite the completion of the necessary agreements and memoranda by the program in cooperation with the Yemeni Technical Committee to raise and discuss them within the framework of the ministerial committee and the government and for approval.
