Prime Minister: Govt looking forward to active international action to demine Houthis- laid landmines

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik has reiterated the government's keenness to establish international and regional collaboration about demining programs and actions, underscoring the need for an international action to condemn Houthi militias' excessive use of landmines and violating the international law in this regard.

His remarks came as he met today, Tuesday, here in the temporary capital Aden with a delegation from Hello Trust Organization for demining headed by the Programs Directors Calvin Ricin and Director of the organization's program in Yemen Abdullah al-Khasawina.

The conversations covered a range of topics pertaining to landmines problem, government's efforts and regional demining projects to get the country cleared from Houtni militias-laid down landmines.

The conversations also touched upon the Hello Trust Organization's programs and activities.
