The Ministry of Oil and Minerals said that the Houthi militia's correspondence with oil companies – which included threats – are invalid and reveal the terrorist nature of these militias that rebel against the local will and international resolutions.

An official source at the Ministry of Oil and Minerals called in a statement on production and exploration companies to not pay attention to the arguments of an outlawed, terrorist militia.

The source reiterated to all companies operating in the oil and mining sector that the Ministry of Oil and Minerals provides all forms of support and assistance to them to help them overcome the difficulties they face to continue their work in accordance with the agreements and contracts signed with the government.
