Ambassador Mostafa informs European official on developments in Yemen

Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the European Union (EU) met here today, Wednesday, with Advisor at EU President's Office Manon Barthoud.
Mostafa updated the EU official on the developments in Yemen, mainly Iran-allied Houthi militias rejection of the UN special envoy's proposal aimed to extend the truce.
The Ambassador noted that the Houthi militias have threatened to target oil facilities in Yemen and the region, calling on the EU to mount pressures upon Iran and Houthi militias to deal constructively with the UN envoy's proposals.
The EU official welcomed the Yemeni government's constructive response to the UN envoy's proposal, stressing the importance of sustaining his efforts to continue his mission.
