Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohssen Ada'iri highly praised the Egyptian role in support of legitimate Yemeni government and armed forces, deeply appreciating Egypt's collaboration, hosting hundreds of thousands of Yemeni citizens in its territories.
General Ada'iri voiced his remarks as he met here today, Thursday, with the Non-Resident Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Yemen Ahmed Faroq.
He recalled the significant role of Egypt in supporting the great Yemeni revolution in 1962 against the despotic Imamate." Every Yemeni citizen is grateful to the Egyptian peoples for their huge sacrifices they extended to support the 26th of September revolution in 1962", he said.
The Egyptian Ambassador confirmed his country's willingness to support the Yemeni people and military, mainly in the field of training and education.
