His Excellency President Rashad al-Alim, Head of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) received today, Sunday, Ambassador of the Turkish Republic to the Republic of Yemen Mostafa Polat.

Aspects of Yemeni-Turkish bilateral relations was key point of the conversations.

The latest developments about the situations in Yemen were also touched upon.

Al-Alimi highly praised Turkish supportive stances in support of the Yemeni legislative government against Houthi militia's coup, deeply appreciated Turkey's contribution to humanitarian efforts in Yemen.

The Turkish Ambassador praised distinguished historical relations with Yemen, pointed to Turkish support for Yemen mainly in the fields of education, capacity building and humanitarian aids.
Director of the Republic Presidency Office, Dr. Yahya Ashoa'ibi was in attendance.
