The Chargé d'Affairs of the Yemeni Embassy in Berlin, Louay Al-Eryani, discussed today with the Committee on Relations with Arab Countries in the German Parliament, headed by Christoph Bloss, the latest developments in Yemen.
Al-Eryani stressed the importance of Germany's support for Yemen by supporting the truce and putting pressure on the Houthi coup militia to abide by the truce and lift the siege on Taiz, pointing to the importance of German positions and the impact of German political support for Yemen and the peace process.
He also pointed out the importance of raising the level of German development support for Yemen.
Meanwhile, the parliamentarians affirmed their keenness to continue following up on the situation in Yemen and to transfer these ideas to the deliberations of the German Parliament.
