Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Major General Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of enhancing investments in the oil and gas sectors in our country and encourag national companies to play their role in restarting the stalled oil sectors and intensifying the efforts of the geological survey to enhance exploration opportunities in the concession areas.

This came when he met this morning in the temporary capital, Aden, the CEO of Petromasila, Mohammed bin Sumait, who briefed him on the company's activities in the fields of exploration and production in the oil sectors in the governorates of Hadramout and Shabwa.

Major General Al-Zubaidi of was briefed by the CEO of Petromasila on the company's efforts to resume the production process in Sector 5 in accordance with the agreement signed between the company and the Ministry of Oil in November 2021, which stipulated handing over the sector to the company (Petromsila) to resume the production process in it after years of stopping.
