Al-Eryani demands international position towards Houthi militia's crimes in Taiz

Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muamar al-Eryani denounced Houthi terrorist militia's military escalation and targeting civilians in Taiz city.

He made it clear that the militia's snipers stationed in the hill of the Central Security Camp targeted civilians during Friday prayer in Kalaba Neighborhood north-east Taiz City, injuring Mohammad Mahdi Abdullah,18 and Anwar Basha al-Absi,21.

He pointed out that the militia continues its violations and systematic targeting and willingly killing of civilians in Taiz by bullets of its snippers and mortar's shelling, in addition to continuous siege on the province, which is most populated province in Yemen for the seventh year in row.

He demanded the international community and the United Nations, as well as the UN and US envoys for Yemen and human rights organizations to clearly denounce Houthi crimes in Taiz and killing its citizens and to crack down on the perpetrators as war criminals.

He also called for exerting pressure on Houthi militia to abide by the UN Truce and end Taiz's siege at once.
