The National Committee to Investigate Alleged Violations to Human Rights has carried out field visit to hotlines at Makbanah District, Taiz, which witnessed killing and injuring a number of civilians and breaches to the UN Truce announced on April.
The committee made it clear that the aim of the visit was to investigate major violations to International Humanitarian Law and the committee honored its commitments to make instant investigation in the violations and those who stand behind them.
The committee team's report pointed outed out that the team investigated shelling a citizen house at al-Miqhaya area, Makbanah district on 27/07/2022 and the shelling killed and injured four citizens and destroyed houses.
According to the report, the team measured the distances of the parties' positions, collected proves associated with the incidents, took photos to the damages, took samples of the shells and took testimonies from eyewitnesses.
