The Chargé d'Affairs of the Yemeni Embassy in Berlin, Louay Al-Eryani, discussed today with the Director of the Middle East at the German Foreign Ministry ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two countries and the developments in Yemen.
Al-Eryani stressed the importance of supporting the truce, stressing the Yemeni government's keenness to maintain it with the need to implement the points related to lifting the siege on Taiz.
He stressed the need for the international community to exert pressure on the Houthi militia to implement their commitments related to the truce. For his part, the German official affirmed Germany's interest in the truce, pointing out that it represents hope for peace and its continuation is very important.
