King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Activities Center's MASAM Project for cleansing Yemeni territories from landmines has removed 1143 landmines during a week planted by Houthi militia in different provinces in Yemen.
In a release for the center on Monday, it made it clear that the cleansed mines were eight anti-person, 312 anti-tanks, 777 inexplosive ordinals and 46 explosive devices.
With this number, the landmines removed during June have reached 6.509 and this figure makes the total number of the removed landmines as 883.348 since the beginning of the project in 2015.
Innocent citizens from children, women and aged are the most victims of these landmines planted by Houthi militia in different provinces of Yemen.
