Health minister launches third campaign of anti-polio vaccination

Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh launched Monday the third campaign of vaccination against polio.
The campaign is carried out by Ministry of Public Health and Population and is financed by health partners.
The three-day campaign aims at reaching 1.179 million children under five and is carried out by health cadre its number reaches 12.4 thousand in 12 liberated provinces.
Health minister confirmed importance of the campaign to rescue children from polio, which reappeared in the country after it had been announced it was free of it.
In Marib, Deputy Governor of Marib Abd-Rabu Miftah launched the National Campaign of Expanded Vaccination Against Polio.
In Shabwah, Assistant Deputy Governor of Shabwah Salem al-Ahmadi launched the Third Round of the National Emergency Campaign of Vaccinating against polio.
