Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, directed the government to quickly complete the matrix of projects related to urgent needs and priorities in the capital, Aden and the liberated governorates, to accommodate the pledges made by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The member of the Presidential Leadership Council stressed today the need to prepare a matrix of projects in accordance with the urgent priorities for the development of the capital, Aden, and the restoration of basic services that touch the life of the citizen in a way direct, achieving food security, livelihood development, economic recovery, strengthening the role of the private sector, and providing an environment that attracts investment.
In the meeting, the member of the Presidential Leadership Council was briefed by the Prime Minister on the government’s efforts to rehabilitate the infrastructure in the interim capital Aden, and its plan to start implementing strategic projects in the field of gas power generation and rehabilitation and maintenance of roads, foremost of which is the sea route linking the Khormaksar and Mansoura directorates.

Major General Al-Zubaidi was also briefed on the measures taken by the government to absorb the support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates through the Arab Monetary Fund, stressing the speed of its completion because of its importance in stabilizing the value of the local currency, and creating economic recovery.
