Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik sent a cable of congratulations to Hamza Abdo Berri on the occasion of his appointment and gaining confidence as Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

Dr. Moeen Abdulmalik expressed his congratulations to his Somali counterpart for earning the confidence to lead the new Somali government, and expressed wishes for success for the Republic and people of Somalia and for more security, stability and further development and prosperity.

He noted the depth and strength of the brotherly relations between Yemen and Somalia and the joint keenness to strengthen and develop them in various fields. The Prime Minister praised the strength of the brotherly relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, and the full keenness to work to strengthen them in various fields.
