His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and Council member Othman Megally visited Qatar National Library today, Saturday, as part of the official presidential visit to the State of Qatar.
The President and the presidential and governmental delegation were received by the Qatari Minister of State and President of the Qatar National Library, Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari, who gave a detailed explanation of the cultural facility’s holdings and its various pavilions in various disciplines, sciences, culture and arts, including rare manuscripts, including the Qatar pavilion.
In his visitor comments record, the President praised this Qatari cultural facility and its active role as a qualitative digital memory in the service of Arab and Islamic culture, expressing his congratulations to the people of Qatar for this great achievement and the cultural and cognitive renaissance that the country is witnessing under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani
