The Ambassador of Yemen in Jakarta, Dr. Abdul Ghani Al-Shamiri, participated in the meeting called by the Presidency of the Indonesian People's Consultative Council with a number of ambassadors accredited in Jakarta.
During the meeting, the Presidium of the Indonesian People's Consultative Council discussed ways to enhance partnership to achieve a peaceful and harmonious world order through cooperation between international democratic entities through the representative institutions of the Shura Councils, and discuss the establishment of the Global Shura Forum, whose premise is based on the principles of democracy, justice and cooperation among peoples within the framework of the representative institutions of the Shura Councils and the corresponding councils in the countries of the world
Al-Shamiri touched on the current situation in Yemen and the political developments that followed the formation of the presidential leadership council and the efforts to bring peace to Yemen and end the war.
