Discussing the implementation of education projects funded by UNICEF

Minister of Education, Tariq Al-Akbari, discussed with the Director of the UNICEF office in Aden today the implementation of a number of educational projects and programs funded by UNICEF.

In the meeting, Al-Akbari stressed the need to continue to take serious steps and accelerate them to strengthen the partnership with UNICEF in accordance with clear and transparent agreements, and to correct all problems and obstacles facing
the possibility of supporting the education sector in a way that contributes to the stability of educational conditions in Yemen.

He referred to the ministry's keenness to consolidate and create a strategic partnership with all donor organizations and UNICEF as one of the main partners for the development of the education sector.
