King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Activities Center's MASAM Project to Clean Yemeni Lands from Landmines removed 2943 landmines during the fourth week of this May planted by Houthi militia in different provinces.
In a release to the center, it made it clear that the removed mines included 159 anti-persons, 325 anti-tanks, 2447 inexplosive ordinals and 12 explosive devices. By adding this number, the landmines have been removed this month have reached 6481 landmines.
The center pointed out that it has removed 342,374 thousand landmines since the beginning of the project planted randomly by Houthi militia across Yemen, targeting more victims from civilians, mostly children, women and aged.
