The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

Three civilians injured among them child by Houthis' drone assault in Marib

Three civilians were reported to have been sustained injuries today among them a 10 – year girl by Houthi militia's laden-explosives drone assault targeted their house in Marib governorate.

Locals told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) " Houthi militiamen targeted the house of Hassan Ahmed Sha'fan in the district of Raghwan, western Marib governorate with a drone attack, resulted in injuring three of his siblings among them a little girl critically wounded".

Houthi militias' attacks on residential areas and civilians have never ceased even during the UN-sponsored truce.

On Friday Houthi militias' militants killed the child Mahmood Hashim Mohammed Ali (5-years old), injuring his mother Sua'd Ahmed Ali (35-year old) and his father Hashim Mohammed Ali (40-year old).

The house of Hashim Mohammed Ali came under Houthi militias' artillery shelling last Friday in the region of Hathran, the village of al-Meqbabah, of Taiz governorate.
