Al-Sharjabi Discusses Joint Cooperation with Ambassadors of EU, France
The Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfiq al-Sharjabi held talks today, Monday, in the interim capital Aden, with the Ambassador of the EU to the Republic of Yemen Patrick Simonnet and the French Ambassador Katherine Corm Kammoun on the cooperation and coordination in the fields of water, environment, climate change and the European funded projects.

Cabinet reiterates government's commitment to maintain UN-brokered humanitarian truce

The Council of Ministers has restated that the Presidential Leadership Council and Government are fully committed to maintain the UN-sponsored humanitarian truce.

In its session held today in the temporary capital Aden presided over by the Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik the Cabinet has stressed that it is very necessary to implement the truce agreement in full and Houthi militia should not be allowed to maneuver over the truce agreement's articles to further exacerbate the humanitarian crisis to gain politically at the expense of the citizen's' ordeal.

The Council of Ministers has welcomed the progress of the fund-raising conference co-organized by the UN and the Netherlands' government to secure the necessary funds to carry out its coordinated plan aims to rescue the decaying Safer Oil Tanker.

The fund-raising gathering collected $ 33 million to help handling Safer Tanker problem.

The Cabinet reaffirmed the government's full support for all efforts aiming to avert unaffordable environmental disaster.
