Government Sends Letter to SC Warns UN of Houthi Threats to International Civil Aviation
The government has warned of a serious threat to the safety and security of international civil aviation over the southern Red Sea, following the reported use by the Houthi militia of Iranian-origin weapons launched from areas under its control in Hodeidah toward international air routes.

The Presidential Council (PLC) convened session this evening chaired by the Head of the Council Rashad al-Alimi.
The deliberations covered a range of significant issues and challenges in the national scene, aiming to reinvigorate the state's institutions.
The challenges in military, security, judicial and administrative domains were elaborately discussed.
The PLC has taken several decisions to manage the challenges in the aforementioned spheres.
