Yemen's Prime Minister has warned that any settlement approach to the roots of the Yemeni crisis "without recognizing the roots of it will lead only to more violence."
In a speech in Yemeni consultations in Riyadh on Tuesday evening, Maeen Abdulmalik said the key to peace in Yemen is through defeating those pressing ahead with the path of violence, sectarianism and racism.
He said the "Any settlement approach not recognizing the roots of the crisis – which lie in the militia structure [of Houthis] and the ideology of divine selection and Wilayah being the driver of the coup d'état – will only lead to more violence."
