Presidential Leadership Council Commends Government's Decisions, Considers them Starting Point to Build State Institutions Competent to Deliver on its Obligations
An official source in the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) welcomed the package of practical economic, financial and administrative decisions and measures taken by the Council of Ministers in its meeting today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital, Aden, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani, describing them as a step forward on the path of comprehensive reforms aimed at improving living conditions, enhancing the efficiency of state institutions, consolidating the principles of transparency and governance, and building an economic and administrative model capable of satisfying the aspirations of the people.

Oil Minister inspects maintenance work at Aden refineries

Minister of Oil and Minerals Abdulsalam Baobood inspected Monday the ongoing work of maintenance work of a number of productive units of Aden Refinery Company, situations of No. 1 Refining Unit and Asphalting Unit after maintenance work in them and their re-operation readiness.

Baobood also inspected the ongoing maintenance work project in the refinery's tanks carried out by Chinese specialized company and the first of the work includes six tanks.

During the visit, the minister inspected also Aden Refinery Power Plant, which is witnessing updating and improving work to generate 22 MW. of power.

He confirmed keenness and care of the political leadership led by President Hadi of Aden refineries as one the most important vital establishments in the country and keenness on protecting them as one of national economy foundations.

He stressed necessity of integrating efforts of all for re-operating the refinery after finalizing all maintenance work to play its role in realizing the stability of the national economy.
