The third round of immunization against neonatal tetanus virus was launched in the temporary capital Aden today, implemented by the Ministry of Public Health and Population with the support of UNICEF.
The Director-General of the National Immunization Program at the ministry, Youssef Ahmed, told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the campaign, which will continue until the tenth of this month, targets 408,000 women from the age of 15 to 49 years in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Mukalla, Socotra, and Al-Mahra.
