Oil minister, OMV discuss the company’s work and 2022 plan

Minister of Oil and Minerals, Abdul Salam Abdullah Baaboud discussed with OMV Company officials including the Deputy Executive General Director of the company, Ezzedine Al-Hakimi, the company’s work in the sector and the company’s plan for the year 2022 AD.

Minister Baaboud stressed that his Ministry will grant all facilities and create the suitable conditions in cooperation with the local authorities in Shabwa governorate for the company to pursue its business, stressing the importance of continuing development efforts, including exploiting gas according to the drawn plans and preparing a vision within a month to exploit the gas associated with production and the future plan to complete the rest of the facilities, foremost of which is the CPF.

For his part, the OMV's official Al-Hakimi praised the efforts of Minister for providing all facilities to the company, noting that the company is working hard to double the production process and work to exploit gas to support the electricity sector.
