The Republic of Yemen strongly condemned Houthi militias' laden-explosives drone attacks against Abha international airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), resulted in injuring a number of travellers and workers at the airport of different nationalities.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates issued a statement learned by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) reads" This attempted terrorist attack against civil airport protected under the humanitarian international law is a war-crime, demonstrates the militia's criminal policy, its breach of the humanitarian international law and its conventional rules, such terrorist actions require a firm reaction by the International Community (IC) toward Iran-sponsored militias' terrorist behaviors in the region, it is time for the IC to blacklist Houthi militia as a terrorist organization".
The Ministry renewed the Republic of Yemen's principled stance in support of the KSA and all measures it takes to deter such terrorist actions, maintain the safety of its people and expats, protect its assets and facilities.
