The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Government's team participates in workshop on renewable energy in Cairo

A government team has participated in a workshop on Renewable Energy for Yemen hosted by Cairo for two days with support from UNDP.
Headed by Assistant Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mansour Zaid, the team included representatives from ministries of planning, electricity, water, UNDP and energy companies in Yemen.
During the workshop, illustrative shows on measures and steps on studying renewable energy and transport lines were made for the purpose of reshuffling the project in accordance with requirements and priorities of the country and then marketing them for demanding financing from donors.
