Yemeni-Russian relations discussed

Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen Ahmed al-Wuhayshi held talks today with the special envoy of the Russian President to the Middle East Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

Yemeni-Russian bilateral relations and latest developments in Yemen was key point of the conversations.

Al-Wuhayshi briefed Bogdanov on Houthi militia's recent military escalation in Yemen and the region.

He cited the militias' increasingly growing violations against the civilians and ballistic missiles and drones attacks on the neighboring countries.

Mr. Bogdanov stated that his country is continuing to contribute to the efforts aiming to re-establish security and stability in Yemen.

He expressed concerns about the militias' military escalation on the neighboring countries.

Ambassadors of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates Abdurahman al-Ahmed and Mohammed al-Jaber were in attendance.
