Prime Minister discusses with UN official food distribution, cash assistances

Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik received Tuesday Regional Director of United National Development Program Loran Bokra discussing with him the organization's process of distributing food and cash assistances.
He stressed significance of regular evaluation of programs and interventions of the UNDP to ensure arrival of assistances to the deserved people, confirming importance of partnership with the national institutions.
He praised contribution of the organization's contribution and its active humanitarian assistances, pointing out to necessity of increasing swift humanitarian interventions to citizens and displaced people in areas witnessing repeated criminal aggression by Houthi militia.
For his part, the UN official confirmed that UNDP manages more than 60 percent of humanitarian support, praising government's facilitations to the program's activities.
