Minister of Transport Dr. Abdussalam Humaid held talks today here in the temporary capital Aden with the UN Resident Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen David Gressly.
The discussions focused on the ongoing coordination between the Transport Ministry and the UN's agencies operate in humanitarian actions about the delivery of the humanitarian and relief aids.
Humaid explored the UN's interventions to help improving the Yemeni seaports' and airports capacities in order to help receiving the humanitarian aids and commercial goods and commodities.
He also highlighted the need for reducing the insurance fees for the ships arrive at the Yemeni seaports to help reduce the commodity prices.
