Al-Hajraf calls on IC to press for halting Houthi terrorism

Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Nayef al-Hajraf underscored the need for mounting pressures upon Iran-allied Houthi militia to stop its terrorist actions and earnestly engage in political process to put an end of the Yemeni crisis.
He called on the International Community (IC) to press for peace that is based on the GCC's Iniative, its operational plan, outcomes of the National Dialogue and the International Security Council resolution 2216.
His comments came as he met here today with the US Envoy to Yemen Timothy Lenderking.
Al-Hajraf stated that the US role is and Mr. Lenderking's efforts are very important to push peace and put an end of the Yemeni crisis.
