His Excellency (HE) President Dr. Rashad a-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), affirmed that the state is determined to protect civilians, uphold its legal standing and maintain unity in its military and security decisions, warning of the danger posed by the escalation of the South Transitional Council (STC) in Hadramout and al-Mahra governorates and the involvement of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in supporting the rebellion and undermining state institutions.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak and Foreign Minister, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs in the State of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmed Nasser al-Sombah discussed on the phone challenges facing Arab national security.

The telephone conversations covered a range of topics relating to Arab national security.

The discussions touched upon the latest political developments in the regions including the irresponsible escalation by Iran-backed Houthi militias that risking regional security and stability.

The two sides condemned Houthi militia's terrorist attacks against the economic and civil facilities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

The two ministers also confirmed their own countries full support for the UAE and KSA and for all necessary measures they are taking to deter the terrorists actions and to defend their countries' security and their peoples, expats and their economic installations.
