The Executive Director of the Supreme Authority for Medicines and Medical Supplies in Aden, Dr. Abdul Qader Al-Bakri, discussed with the Director of the World Health Organization office in Aden, Dr. Noha Mahmoud, the possibility of the organization’s support to the Authority in the areas of training, rehabilitation, laboratories, pharmacovigilance, providing the Authority with experts in the field of laboratories and taking the necessary measures to provide the Authority with medical devices and equipment .

They also discussed the importance of holding a workshop related to the optimal use of antibiotics, conducting the necessary studies to determine the extent of resistance to antifungals and bacteria, supporting the organization in this area, and strengthening the areas of logistical coordination related to drug releases between the authority and the organization.
