President Abd-Rabu Mansour Hadi has confirmed significant role of the Central Organization for Control and Audit or (COCA) and activating its work in performing its work to deal with corruption, activating institutional work, boosting transparency, honesty and protecting the public funds.
In his meeting with President of COCA Judge Abu Bakr al-Saqqaf on Monday, president confirmed that the central organization has the right to combat corruption and report to the state's leadership to take necessary decisions.
He confirmed revising and evaluating the work of the Central Bank of Yemen since its relocation to Aden till 2021 and reporting to the president on the time defined by President's Decree numbering 69.
For his part, al-Saqqaf expressed pleasure for this meeting with the president as the meeting gives them additional support to perform their duties as demanded, making the president in the picture of priorities and proposals taken by the central organization to activate the work of COCA.
