The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, condemned the Iranian-backed Houthi militia's storming of the residence of exiled Sana'a University staff member Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Al-Daghshi and forcible expulsion of his family.

Al-Eryani said that the militia raide the residence which is located in the university dormitory, expelled Al-Daghshi's family and gave dozens of academicians a week ultimatum to vacate their homes.

Al-Eryani indicated that since its coup, the Houthi militia has carried out a systematic campaign to harass faculty members and loot their apartments in the university housing at Sana’a University, to regrant those residences to the militia's loyalist militants.
