Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Breik chaired Tuesday a Cabinet meeting dedicated to discussing updates on economic and service conditions, and coordinated plans with the Central Bank of Yemen to address the decline in the national currency's exchange rate and the deterioration of basic services.
The death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 55,297, with 128,426 injured, the Ministry of Health in afflicted Palestinian enclave said. The majority of the victims are women and children.

Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nezar Bashaid highlighted Yemen's need for greater interventions by the UNOPS in different developmental and services areas at this critical stage Yemen has been going through.
During his discussions today here in the temporary capital Aden with the team of the UNOPS Basohaib explored more interventions in the health, water, sanitation, education and solar energy system in several governorates.
The UNOPS team included the two directors of the organization in Amman Mohammed Akram and in Yemen Fayadh Ahmed.
Separately, Basohaib met here today with the Head of Spanish Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Yemen Nicolas Papcisosto.
They discuss the MSF's plans and programs in the previous time and future.
