Yemen, WB discuss mechanism of implementing regaining education project

Minister of Education Tarik al-Okbori discussed Saturday with the Regional Director of World Bank in Egypt, Yemen and Djibouti Marina Weis educational programs and projects financed by World Bank.
The meeting reviewed cooperation and partnership between the ministry and the organization in field of educational projects in general and the Project of Regaining Education and challenges facing its implementation in particular.
Minister al-Okbori confirmed significance of WB's interventions in educational field in line with plan of priorities and needs of education.
He stressed coordination with all concerned bodies and following up continuously to implement it. He renewed keenness of the ministry to work with all donors in accordance with transparent mechanism for reaching aims and making use from all supplies.
For her part, the regional director of the WB talked about most important interventions in educational field, pointing out to necessity of speeding up the project of regaining education and learning in Yemen.
