The Chargé d'Affairs at the Yemeni Embassy in Japan, Bashir Qassem, participated in the 2021 United Nations Peacekeeping Ministerial Conference, which was held via video conference in South Korea.
The conference's four sessions included consultation on creating lasting peace, international partnership, including training of those in charge of peacekeeping operations and building their capacities, performance evaluation, oversight and accountability during the implementation of peacekeeping operations and the role of peacekeeping forces in protecting civilians and ensuring their security and safety.
