The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Chief of Justice praises UNDP support for Judiciary

President of the Supreme Judiciary Council Judge Nasser Salim deeply appreciated the UNDP's contribution to the efforts aimed to improve capacities of the Judicial authority in Yemen.
Judge Nasser held talks here today in the temporary capital Aden with the team leader of the UNDP Dr. Lucy Matheson.
They conferred over previous programs and achievements in terms of training and capacity-building of the judicial authority.
Matheson stated that the UNDP is keen to offer assistance to develop judicial system in Yemen.
