The Governor of Al-Bayda, Nasser Al-Sawadi, discussed with the office of the International Committee of the Red Cross the activities and programs required to be implemented to alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the people of Al-Bayda.
In a meeting in the temporary capital, Aden, today, Al-Sawadi stressed the keenness of the local authority to provide the necessary facilities for the ICRC to implement its programs and humanitarian work, and achieve its humanitarian goals.
The meeting reviewed the urgent humanitarian needs and interventions for Al-Bayda IDPs and the amount of support required to be provided by the International Committee of the Red Cross to the people of the governorate in the field of food and health security through emergency response projects.
