Deputy Governor of Marib Abd-Rabu Miftah launched Sunday distribution of 5600 food parcels to new displaced people in Marib provided by King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Activities Center through Nama' Local Network for national organizations.
Miftah praised support of Saudi Arabia to Yemeni people in these difficult conditions and providing humanitarian assistances to displaced people to alleviate their suffering.
Miftah called upon partners of humanitarian work to double their swift interventions in fields of shelters, food, water and health, confirming that there are thousands of families who were displaced by the Iranian- backed Houthi militia in southern Mairb districts.
He confirmed that they are still living in the open air and are in bad need of the smallest thing for living.
