President al-Alim Calls for Wide-Ranging National Alignment to Restore State Institutions, Eliminate Coup

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces urged all Yemeni people to align themselves behind the State Proposal, support the Armed Forces in the security services in the ongoing battle to restore the State institutions and eliminate the coup. 20 national organizations interested in human rights called on the UN, International Security Council and all human rights organizations to shoulder their moral and humanitarian responsibility, move to protect the civilians and IDPs in Marib governorate from Houthi militia's aggressive attacks.

In a joint statement issued today the human rights organizations expressed disappointment for the international silence toward Houthi militia's grave violations against the civilians in the district of al-Gobah, southern Marib, where Houthi militiamen have been launching an aggressive military operations.

The Yemeni human rights organizations appealed to the International recognized government to bear its responsibility, acting to protect its people from Houthi militia's crimes and atrocities.
