His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, departed today, Friday, from the interim capital, Aden, heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to hold consultations with regional and international actors regarding the latest developments in the local situation, particularly the recent events in the eastern governorates.

20 national organizations interested in human rights called on the UN, International Security Council and all human rights organizations to shoulder their moral and humanitarian responsibility, move to protect the civilians and IDPs in Marib governorate from Houthi militia's aggressive attacks.

In a joint statement issued today the human rights organizations expressed disappointment for the international silence toward Houthi militia's grave violations against the civilians in the district of al-Gobah, southern Marib, where Houthi militiamen have been launching an aggressive military operations.

The Yemeni human rights organizations appealed to the International recognized government to bear its responsibility, acting to protect its people from Houthi militia's crimes and atrocities.
