Governor of Shabwa Mohammed Saleh bin Adyo discussed Wednesday with representatives of international organizations in Yemen humanitarian situations in the province and their interventions to alleviate suffering of the displaced people.
In the meeting, which included representatives of UN Humanitarian Office, UNFPA, Security and Safety Organization and World Food Program, the governor demanded the UN offices in Yemen to expand their humanitarian interventions in the province, confirming readiness of the local authority to provide necessary facilitations to them.
For their part, the representatives of UN organizations' offices made it clear that their visit to the province aims at inspecting humanitarian condition and studying people's needs, in addition to working on boosting international organizations' activities in the province.
