Minister of Transport Abdulsalam Humaid discussed Monday with Egyptian Transport Minister Kamel Abdulhadi aspects of cooperation between the two ministries.
Humaid confirmed the significance of the Egypt's role in supporting Arab joint work, especially in economic, development and humanitarian fields. He reviewed all conditions and challenges in the country.
He praised development accomplishments, including transport sector, in Egypt and hoped making use of successful experiences in improving ground, marine and air transport in Yemen and increasing investments in this field.
For his part, Egyptian transport minister confirmed position of Egypt supporting the government of Yemen politically and economically, hoping that international and regional efforts will lead to stopping the war and realizing peace through just and inclusive political solution.
The two parties agreed on organizing meetings between the concerned officials in the two ministries on the sidelines of the 34th Round of Arab Transport Ministers to be held during the forthcoming days to discuss joint interests between Arab countries.
