Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak met today on the sidelines of the 76th Session of the UN General Assembly with Kuwait Foreign Minister, Minister of State for the Kuwait Council of Ministers Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Sobah.
They discussed Yemeni-Kuwaiti bilateral relations and coordination about regional and international issues of common interests.
Bin Mubarak briefed Assobah on the latest political, security, economic and humanitarian situations in Yemen amid Houthi militia's military escalation in Marib, Shabwa and the west coast.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister affirmed his country's solidarity with the Yemeni government. He also confirmed Kuwait's support for the international efforts to achieve the sustainable and comprehensive peace in Yemen.
