Deputy Governor of Marib, Dr. Abd-Rabbu Miftah, inaugurated the first phase of the Kuwait-funded housing project for the displaced people, in Al-Rawda area in Wadi Dhanna of Marib for the people displaced by the Houthi militia from Serwah.
The project comprises a thousand housing units, at a cost of $1,200,000 funded by the International Islamic Charitable Organization and the Voluntary Trahum team in the State of Kuwait .
The first phase, implemented by the Response Foundation for Humanitarian and Relief Works, includes 250 housing units, benefiting 250 families displaced to the area.
Each unit consists of two rooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a hall over an area of 35 square meters.
