Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh discussed Thursday with Charge d' Affairs of Korean Embassy in Yemen Hyoun Syong Korean support to health sector in Yemen.
Buhaibeh praised different support of Korean government to Yemen, especially health sector, pointing out that doing maintenance work to Khalifa Hospital in al-Turbah city, Taiz. The hospital is one of the significant projects are being carried out by Korean government in Yemen.
The meeting touched upon a number of health issues led by facing new waves of Corona pandemic and challenges facing the ministry, looking forward to improving mutual work to support health sector for alleviating difficult humanitarian situation.
For her part, the Korean diplomat confirmed her country's full support to the internationally recognized government for alleviating humanitarian crisis and realizing security and stability in the country.
