The Yemeni government held talks today with the World Bank (WB) over Yemen's share of Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) of foreign exchange reserve of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) with total amount estimated at $665 in order to support the urgently needed economic stability and improve services.
Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik led the discussions which conducted via video conference.
The WB's Executive Director Dr. Mirza Hassan, Ministers of Finance Salim bin Bureik and Planning and International Cooperation Wa'id Batheeb and technical support team of the WB contributed to the deliberations.
The discussions focused on the propositions suggested by the WB for using Yemen's SDRs, mechanisms to effectively benefit from and the ideal options can be opted for to improve the economic situations, living conditions and allay the peoples' suffering all over Yemen.
